2022 Plym Park Basketball Court Replacement Remove the entire existing asphalt surfaced basketball court. Salvage and protect the four existing baskets/backboards & associated posts & structural support. Existing benches to be protected and remain in current location. Undercut 12 inches below bottom of proposed concrete slab and backfill/compact with MDOT Class II or better sand. Construct new 6" thick, 3,500 psi concrete slab basketball court reinforced with 6 X 6 W1.4 x W1.4 WWM. Provide & install 2 new baskets/backboards/structural supports in two locations. Rehabilitate and reinstall four existing backboards/supports/structure. Stripe court. Shape surrounding area to provide positive drainage away from new court. Topsoil, seed, mulch, fertilize all disturbed areas outside new court.
All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State nondiscrimination laws and regulations. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory 100% performance bond as well as labor and material bond. A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each proposal. Proposals submitted without the certified check or bidders bond will not be accepted. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids.
