Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: Remove and replace all street and road signs inside Jasper city limits. Excluding the following: o State (TxDOT) roadways and highways, o Main Street from U.S. Highway 190 to Water Street, o Water Street (East) from Main Street to Zavalla Street, o Springhill Street from Marvin Hancock Street to Main Street, o Bowie Street from U.S. Highway 190 to Springhill Street Bidders are to provide their own comprehensive in-the-field inventory of the signs, posts, hardware, concrete and appurtenances for replacement prior to providing a bid for the Project. Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and is not to be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Jasper reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Jasper for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
