The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is requesting Standing Offers from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional services under the direction of the RDCK Emergency Operation Centre (EOC). The general scope of the task is dependent on the emergency and may involve mitigation, response or recovery work. Typically, the RDCK has dealt with flooding, fires and landslides. The work can involve professional consulting, sampling, monitoring, planning, field assessments, reporting and more. The list below is an example of professional services that we are looking for: . Civil Engineering; . Geoscientist; . Archeologist; . Project Management; . Environmental Consulting The intent of this Request for Standing Offer is to develop a list of pre-qualified service providers capable of providing a wide variety of professional services to the RDCK Emergency Operations Centre from time on a non-exclusive basis, and to enter into Consulting Services agreements with those service providers. The RDCK will continue to use in-house resources, and reserves the right to obtain pricing on individual projects when needed. The RDCK further reserves the right to obtain pricing and proposals from service providers not selected as part of the Request for Standing Offer process on specific projects, if needed, according to RDCK procurement policies. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
