Renovation of a library in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,680-square-foot, three-story above grade library.

Bids may be received by mail, personal delivery, by a recognized overnight delivery carrier by the deadline described above, which bids shall be sealed and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place set forth above for all bids. No bid will be accepted by email, facsimile transmission or any other electronic transmission. Board of Trustees of the Free Public Library of the Township of Lyndhurst and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid; provided said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000. nor shall not be less than $ 500. and a consent of surety from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid. All bids must be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. All signatures shall be in ink and in longhand. The successful bidder/contractor shall provide written notice to its subcontractors and supplier of the responsibility to submit proof of business registration to the contractor. The requirement of proof of business registration extends down through all levels (tiers) of the project. Before final payment on the contract is made by the Board of Trustees, the successful bidder/contractor shall submit an accurate list and proof of business registration of each subcontractor or supplier used in the fulfillment of the contract or shall attest that no subcontractors were used. All bidders shall provide with its bid the form of acknowledgement in the specifications by the bidder of its receipt of any notice or revisions or addenda to the advertisement or bid documents. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities as the interest of the Board of Trustees may require. The deadline for RFI forms to be Friday, February 11, 2022.
