The City of Laconia invites the submission of proposals, from qualified service technicians, for stand-by generator 24 hour emergency repair service to supplement the City's Public Works Sewer Division which presently performs preventive maintenance on 18 stand-by generators throughout the sewer collection system. While this request for proposal is primarily for supplying technical, parts, and emergency repair services to supplement normal maintenance procedures, proposals should additionally provide for optional preventative maintenance services for all of the generators listed in the request. The selected service provider will be expected to have, or have the ability to acquire, the manufacturer authorizations and certifications (including software programming capabilities) to perform the required maintenance and repairs to all stand-by generators. Proposals should also include a cost for annual fleet load bank testing.
