Site work and renovation of a civil project in Mandeville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of this contract consists of rehabilitation of two existing sewer lift stations. The work includes demolition and restoration, and includes new pumps, piping, valves, electrical and control systems, a new wet well and valve box, a new gravity sewer line with manholes and new force main piping. Flow control for continuous operation of existing lift stations is required, as is all other incidental work necessary to complete the project in compliance with the Drawings and Specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified check, cashiers check, or Bid Bond as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A.C, in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without conditions to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute a Contract in accordance with his proposal and all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the Contract throughout.
