Site work for a water / sewer project in Brewster, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

IFB pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. 5% bid deposit required, prevailing wage rates, OSHA certification, 100% performance and payment bond. The “Scope of Work” of this Contract is defined in the Contract Documents, Plans, Notes and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to: ? On-site meeting with Engineer and Town Representative, prior to construction for coordination and implementation of the project. ? Cut brush back as needed along edge of roadway in order to provide adequate access for construction vehicles. ? Labor and materials required to cut and remove the existing pavement. ? Install drainage facilities, as specified on the Plan. ? Supply all required clean sandy soil for backfill. All back fill material shall be installed in 6-inch lifts. ? Supply an eight (8) inch layer of processed stone (3/4” aggregate max) within the project area. The 8-inch layer of processed stone shall be completed in two 4- inch lifts. ? Grade and compact base material. ? Install 2 ½ inch layer (rolled) of Class II bituminous concrete – Binder course. ? Sweep and tack the roadway, prior to completing the final overlay paving. ? Install and roll 1 ½ inch (rolled) of Class 1 Bituminous Concrete, Finish Course with 12” Berms (where specified). ? Repair the impacted aprons. Refer to plan for details and notes ? Loam and seed disturbed areas along the entire length of the roadway and shoulder.
