The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all non-conforming responsive or conditional bids. Requirements of the City of Upper Arlington Affirmative Action Program are applicable. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, handicap status, or veteran status. Scope The City of Upper Arlington is seeking a Contractor to replace the existing concrete trench drain at the Upper Arlington Roberts Road Service Center, 4100 Roberts Road. The Contractor will reuse the existing iron grates and reconnect to the existing oil interceptor. The Contractor will perform the work in two phases: Demolition and Installation. The Contractor must coordinate the phases with the City of Upper Arlington. ADD TO THE PROJECT A TOP SURFACE CONCRETE SEALER: CONTRACTOR SHALL APPLY A WATER BASED, PENETRATING, WATER REPELLENT, SILANE/SILOXANE SEALER TO PROVIDE PROTECTION TO NEW CONCRETE SLAB AND REDUCE INTRUSION OF WATER AND CHLORIDES INTO THE SUBTRATE. RECOMMENDED PRODUCT: INTRAGUARD BY W.R. MEADOWS, OR OTHER APPROVED. FOLLOW MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATION WITH REGARDS TO SURFACE PREPARATION AND PRODUCT INSTALLATION.
