Kayak Pond Deck Replacement - The existing observation deck at the kayak pond in the Natural Resources Park at the Ohio State Fair has boards that are lose, ropes that are frayed, and poses a safety hazard which requires its replacement utilizing low maintenance Trex material to match the kayak dock which is also made of Trex material. Ohio|Buys Online Solicitation (SRC3084) will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. See attached for specifications. Please provide detailed line item quote including materials, labor, and anticipated steps for deck replacement. Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Trex Transcend Treehouse decking should be installed on the deck level and the ADA ramp with Trex hideaway poly hidden fasteners A handrail using Trex Transcend Treehouse crown railing with black round aluminum spindles should be installed on both sides of the ramp and around the entire observation deck level Trex Transcend Treehouse decking will be installed on the treads and fascia installed on the risers Trex Transcend Treehouse fascia will be installed on the perimeter of the observation deck levels to cover the framing components A single board border will be installed on observation deck and ADA ramp to picture frame the decking
