The Ohio Department of Transportation has mitigation obligations across the state of Ohio resulting from the Clean Water Act and other state and federal requirements. To satisfy these requirements ODOT must, at times, purchase stream, wetland, and/or other environmental mitigation credits from approved mitigation banks and/or in-lieu fee programs. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit and retain vendors to provide guaranteed mitigation credits in ODOT-specified watersheds when needed. ODOTs objective is to establish a contract with vendor(s) from whom ODOT can purchase guaranteed stream and wetland mitigation credits on an as-needed basis. Vendors must be an IRT-approved mitigation bank or in-lieu fee provider servicing Ohio with available mitigation credits for sale. The duration of the contract shall be twenty-four (24) months from the date of the award. OHDOT - Mitigation Credit Purchase
