Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Bellingham, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
The Port of Bellingham (Port) is issuing this Request for Professional Services (RFPS) to solicit responses from consulting firms capable of providing support with designing, permitting, building, and all other aspects of the broad consultation necessary for the rehabilitation and replacement of fire suppression systems of select Port facilities. The consultant, sprinkler designer firm, will hire and lead any required sub-disciplines, (structural, mechanical, or electrical engineers, etc.). The select firm will develop comprehensive construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications for work located at 1000 F Street Bellingham WA the Port owned F street Warehouse. The work involves building modifications, fire suppression system design, minor electrical and mechanical design. This location and Scope of Services include: Replace the existing dry fire suppression system with new wet fire suppression system. This involves coordinating with Port staff and tenants to enable complete design of reconfigured warehouse space. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
