This project shall include the sandblasting and painting at Riverside Pool- 1801 N. 1st St. and detailed specification information is included in the Riverside Pool Sandblasting and Painting Specification. Main Pool Pool Walls: approx. 2,620 sf Pool bottom slab: approx. 13,700 sf Pool Total: approx. 16,320 sf Wading Pool Wading pool walls: 135 sf. Wading pool bottom slab: 450 sf Wading Pool Total: 585 sf Any deletions, variations, or exceptions to the specifications must be submitted with the bid. All damages to the streets, driveways, berms, etc. due to Contractors construction techniques shall be repaired at the Contractors expense prior to making final payment. The unit price shall include freight charges. The total bid price shall not include any North Dakota sales tax, for which an exemption certificate can be furnished. All work shall be in conformance with the City of Grand Forks Standard Construction Specifications The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the bid opening. The project is to be completed by May 20, 2022. The contractor shall provide proof of insurance that shall list for liability insurance under the commercial general policy the minimum limits shall be: $1,000,000 per occurrence with $2,000,000 aggregate $2,000,000 excess/umbrella with $2,000,000 aggregate The City of Grand Forks shall be named as an Additional Insured in the policy. The insurance shall remain in force for the entire length of the contract. The Owner shall be notified at least thirty (30) days prior to any change in the insurance policy. Upon renewal of the policy, or extension of the work, a new Certificate of Insurance shall be submitted to the Owner for review and approval. A copy of the Certificate of Insurance shall be submitted to the Owner for review and approval before the start of the work. If the Certificate of Insurance does not contain the minimum limits given above and the naming of the City of Grand Forks as an additional insured, the Owner has the right to work with another Contractor. Final payment will be based on the actual quantities of work items completed It shall be the Contractors responsibility to notify the Project Manager with the City of Grand Forks of the timeline for the project. Mobilization, bonds, insurance, cleanup, and any other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project shall be considered incidental to the contract. The City Council must approve all pay estimates for the work before payment can be made. The City Council normally meets on the First Monday of the month to consider payments on projects. To allow adequate time to prepare the monthly estimates, the cut-off date for work items to be included in the estimate shall be the Thursday prior to the last Monday of the month. 16. Any deletions, variations, or exceptions to the specifications must be submitted with the bid.
