Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Quincy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Quincy Massachusetts will accept sealed bids for Road Improvements 2022 - Contract 2 for the reclamation (full-depth), cold planing and surfacing of various roadways, including sidewalks and curbing. The estimated value of the contract is $4,630,982.48 A 5% Bid Bond is required. All work under this contract shall be substantially complete by November 1, 2022, and All work shall be ready for final pavement by November 15, 2022. A 5% bid security (bond or certified check) required. Question must be received via email at purchasing@quincyma.gov thru February 18, 2022 by 12:00 pm. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be eligible or responsible. Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project or the public to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
