The County of San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and agencies to operate a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) for the provision of crisis intervention and crisis stabilization services to residents of San Bernardino County who reside primarily in the East and West Valley regions, but not excluding any resident of San Bernardino County. The Contract period will be for a five year period beginning on July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027. Currently, the projected allocation for this service is approximately $10,000,000 annually ($5,000,000 for each CSU) or $50,000,000 for the five year period. Questions must be submitted no later than noon Wednesday, February 25, 2022. This RFP does not commit the County to award a contract. County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it is in the best interest of the County to do so. County also reserves the right to terminate this RFP process at any time.
