By providing these services, the company selected will assist the ECHA in providing housing that is safe, sanitary and in good repair The East Chicago Housing Authority (ECHA) is soliciting Proposals for Plumbing Services. The East
Chicago Housing Authority (ECHA) is needing services performed at the James Hunter Building
located at 3625 Pulaski St., East Chicago, IN. 46312
Contractor shall install above and below ground sanitary waste piping and vent, Scheduled
PVC DWV plastic piping and fittings will be used.
o Contractor shall furnish, at Contractor's own expense, all labor, materials and equipment
necessary to carry out the terms ofthis contract.
o Contractor shall do all masonry work needed to complete the job (Sawing and cutting of
concrete to access and install new drainage piping.
o Contractor shall perform excavation and backfill for underground plumbing work.
o Contractors shall make appropriate changes in cleanouts ifneeded, (or recommended)
o Contractor shall comply with all ECHA and United States Department ofHousing and Urban
Development (HUD) rules and regulations.
o The Contractor will make any connections of drains that are under concrete floor
o Contractor will install pipe hangers and supports for plumbing where needed
