Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.

The work consists of Cook Elementary Main building will undergo a roof replacement, removal of existing Denver Beam System, repair of structural members, and brick masonry repairs. Limited interior improvements associated with structural repair work includes the prep and paint of walls and ceilings. The roofs of the Boiler Building and Annex will also be repaired. The work consists for concrete, masonry, roofing, painting, window gurads and selected MEP renovations. Trades included but not limited to: Cast-In-Place Concrete, Shotcrete, Masonry, Cast Stone, Structural Steel Framing, Metal Fabrications, Rough Carpentry, Roof Deck Repair, Insulation, Hot Applied Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing, Roof Accessories, Joint Sealants, Access Doors & Panels, Window Guards Exterior & Interior, Plaster Renovations, Wood Athletic Flooring Renovations, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Wood Strip & Plank Flooring, Wood Athletic Flooring, Renovation, Exterior & Interior Painting, Signage, Metal Lockers, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Earthwork, Excavation, Fill, Asphalt Paving, Concrete Paving, Pavement Markings, Trash Enclosure Fences & Gates, Decorative Metal Fences & Gates, Sodding, Plants, & Native Plantings. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. 30% MBE and 7% WBE
