Question Cutoff Date: 02/24/2022 at 10:00 A.M PT PWP NUMBER: CL-2022-223 PN - 20071 The work consists of but not limited to selective demolition of existing tennis court area, as described in the drawings and specifications, to remove and re-construct and install an eight (8) court tennis facility. Construction includes all administrative work as outlined in the division one general requirements and the following installations using materials noted on drawings and specifications: Demolition of eight existing tennis courts, including tennis court fencing, fence posts, and windscreen. Demolition of four (4) existing wood shade shelters and benches, earthwork, wet dry utilities clearing and grubbing for all slabs, site drainage areas, concrete flatwork, including but not limited to concrete sidewalks and shade structure pads. Eight (8) post tension/sleeved concrete tennis courts with amenities, removal of sixteen (16) mature pine trees at perimeter of existing westernmost courts, and removal of three (3) smaller trees as shown on plans. Selective hazardous material demolition and disposal of approximately 600 L.F. of existing transit water pipe and salvage approximately twenty one (21) existing irrigation control valves and valve boxes. Remove and salvage eight (8) existing court light poles and fixtures and demolish eight (8) existing concrete pole bases. Install approximately 600 L.F. 8" pvc water line to replace the removed segment of 8" transit pipe and install twenty one (21) salvaged valves and valve boxes on new 8" irrigation mainline with service saddles including extending new lateral pipe and wire from existing lateral pipe and wires to new valve locations and connect to existing irrigation controller. Install six (6) new irrigation control valves and new valve boxes to replace six (6) existing valves being demolished, currently located between the west and east courts. Extend new lateral pipe and wire from existing lateral pipe and wires to new valve locations and connect to existing irrigation controller. Install eight (8) new concrete light pole bases with new conduit and wires for salvaged court lights. Install eight (8) salvaged court lights and fixtures on new concrete light pole bases and connect to new wires. Install eight (8) new post tension/sleeved concrete tennis courts with acrylic court surfacing, lines, net, net posts and sleeves, all site, perimeter, and interior galvanized chain link fencing, gates, and windscreens, and signage, including court id signs, ADA signage, and tennis court rules signage. Install four (4) dual sided tennis practice walls at the westernmost courts. Install four (4) precast concrete benches on concrete pads, install one (1) high/low drinking fountain with non-chilled bottle filler) with gravel sump, install one (1) new park message board. Install new sch.40 lateral pipe and irrigation distribution components (multi-outlet emitters and point source emitters for shrubs), and piping downstream from two (2) new irrigation control valves to service new plantings and tie back into existing lateral pipe of the existing drip irrigation zone being impacted. Installation of new sch. 40 lateral pipe from four (4) new irrigation control valves to service existing plantings and tie back into existing lateral pipe of the existing drip irrigation zone being impacted. The price for installations shall include: purchasing all associated engineering, required permitting, all associated appurtenances and accessories as required for a full and complete installation of the items and materials.
