Renovation of an educational facility in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to provide a complete Rooftop Unit Replacement and general contracting work, as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. Furnish all labor and materials to perform demolition work as shown on the Drawings, as required for the installation of new work, and as specified hereinafter. Project Estimate: $2,000,000.00 Design Participation: Combined MBE/WBE goal of (17.9%) Construction Participation: Combined MBE/WBE goal of (10.4%) Remove and dispose of existing rooftop units #1, #2, #3 and #10, including a portion of associated ductwork, sleeves, dampers, and other components as indicated on the Drawings, by the HVAC Filed Sub-Bidder. Remove and dispose of wood-framed roof curbs under rooftop units #1, #2, #3 and #10, and temporary roof protections by the Roofing and Flashing Sub-Bidder. Remove and dispose of a portion of the gypsum wallboard partition above the soffit in the Cafeteria in order to access existing steel beam for reinforcement by the General Bidder. Carefully remove, store and protect existing duct risers (by HVAC Filed-Sub Bidder) and flat screen monitor and other wall-hung devices in the area of wallboard demolition. The last date to submit questions for General Contractors’ is changing from no later than 12:00 noon on February 25, 2022 to no later than 12:00 noon on March 10, 2022
