The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work including approximately 400 lft of accessible 8' HMA paths, and all incidental construction at Stony Creek Metropark in Oakland County, Michigan. If awarded the Contract, the undersigned agrees that time is an essential condition of the Contract and will totally complete the work on or before May 27, 2022. Liquidated Damages: The undersigned agrees that time is an essential condition of the Contract. It Should the undersigned fail to complete the work by this date, it is agreed that the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per day will be deducted from the Contract Amount for each and every calendar day the work is incomplete. Bids shall be submitted on the form included in the bidding documents, and shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond underwritten by a surety licensed in the State of Michigan, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. The successful Bidder shall furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder for a period of one year after date of acceptance. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities and to make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Authority.
