Work consists of block wall preparation, repair, sealing and painting of the exterior of CD Stamps Community Center including the entire west side of the building and the interior preparation, priming and painting of the gymnasium of CD Stamps Community Center located at 810 South Jackson Street, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388. Quantities are NOT guaranteed. The City of Tullahoma reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received. Bids for the Services specified will be received by the City of Tullahoma, Purchasing Officer at the below specified location until the time and date cited. Bids received by the correct time and date will be opened and the name of each contractor/vendor will be publicly read. The work covered by this contract is for the block repair, sealing and painting of the entire west exterior wall of the CD Stamps Community Center as well as the repair, and sealing of any exposed gray block around the entire exterior of the building. The work will also include the repair, preparation, and priming of all affected areas of efflorescence of the gymnasium walls and the painting of the entire interior block walls of the CD Stamps gymnasium Work to be performed includes: BLOCK REPAIR West Exterior Painted Wall: - Remove and replace expansion joints using polyurethane sealant - Pressure wash - Spot prime as needed with Loxon Masonry primer-sealer or equivalent - Apply 2 coats of Loxon XP (Paint waterproofing material) or equivalent Exterior Gray Block around exterior perimeter of the building: - Cleaning and sealing of exposed gray block applying YUFIX 1000 concrete sealer and water repellent or equivalent Interior Gymnasium: - Scrape to remove efflorescence on all affected areas in the gymnasium -Clean affected areas with TSP solution to remove dust for adhesion purposes - Spot prime each affected area with Loxon Conditioner or equivalent - Spot paint each area with matching existing Loxon Acrylic coating paint or equivalent - Apply one (1) topcoat of matching existing paint to entire wall surface in gymnasium interior only with Loxon Acrylic coating paint or equivalent
