Site work and paving for a road / highway in Avon Lake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of asphalt overlay, mill and fill work, section repairs, full depth pavement removal and flexible replacement all in the City of Avon Lake. All labor, material and equipment needed shall be provided by the bidder. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The City of Avon Lake is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest and best responsive bid.
