**As of March 21 2022, award recommendation to Karvo Paving Company bid of $558,000. Project Description We will resurface two streets. Street 1 is Lake Breeze Road between S.R. 611 (Colorado Avenue) and Norfolk Southern Railroad. Harris Road must be substantially complete by November 30, 2022 and the entire project must be substantially complete by November 30, 2023. In addition to these requirements, the contractor cannot be paid more than $750,000 in calendar year 2022. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with Davis-Bacon Federal Wage rates. The Village reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
