As such, SODEC requests bids from qualified contractors to provide the labour, materials and supervision necessary to carry out work on demand in electromechanical maintenance, ventilation and air conditioning at Place-Royale. and at the Old Church of Saint-Pierre on Île d'Orléans. Clauses on the eligibility conditions of bidders: Only contractors who can demonstrate their experience in projects of the same nature, who hold the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, cB-1.1) and who have their place of business are authorized to bid. in Quebec, or when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in a province or territory covered by this agreement. The failure of a tenderer to respect one or the other of the conditions described below renders him ineligible: Tendering contractors with an establishment in Quebec must retain, when submitting their tender, a certificate issued by the Quebec Revenue Agency during the 90 days preceding the deadline for receipt of tenders. Tendering contractors must also be advised that subcontractors must hold a certificate issued by the Quebec Revenue Agency when this contract is directly related to the contract covered by this call for tenders. Entrepreneurs who do not have an establishment in Quebec where they carry out their activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified with their name and accessible during normal business hours, must submit, with their bid, the "Absence d'establishment au Québec" form. duly completed and signed by an authorized person. The tenderer must not be registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) or, if registered, his period of ineligibility for public contracts must have ended. Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender and their behavior. They must inform them of the conditions they intend to prescribe, in particular those imposed on the contractual documents. Finally, they must ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
