Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bernardsville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

This contract includes, but is not limited to, the following major items of work: - Installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices associated with the vehicular detour proposed for this project - Installation, maintenance and removal of soil erosion and sediment control devices as shown on the plans - Coordination with affected utilities and accommodation for utility work including relocation of aerial facilities and gas main relocation as needed for the construction of the bridge - Removal of existing structure in its entirety including abutments, wingwalls, parapet and footings - Construction of new pre-cast box culvert with cast in footings, wing walls, and parapets with stone veneer - Construction of approximately 500 feet of roadway, including guide rail and road stripping as shown in the construction plans - Other incidental and necessary work shown on the Construction Plans and further described herein. [Examples: Company ID/Business Card] All information is subject to verification Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract.
