**As of May 20, 2022, project was awarded to SUR West Construction but awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Charlestown is inviting proposals for a contract at the Town Offices located at 233 Main Street, Charlestown, NH 03603, for the Waterline Interconnect Construction project in the Town of Charlestown The work will take place within the right-of-way of Old Claremont Road and NH Route 11, continuing to Wheeler Rand Road to the Scenic Hill Road intersection. The construction area is approximately 12,500 feet long. The Town of Charlestown proposes to construct a water interconnection between the North Charlestown Water System and the Charlestown with excess water generated by the Charlestown southerly system. All work will be substantially completed on or before December 1, 2022, and all other incidental work will be fully completed and ready for final payment on December 16, 2022 The drawings, general provisions, specifications and proposal may be examined at the Town Offices. Each bid must be accompanied by BID SECURITY, payable to the Town of Charlestown, in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00), which BID SECURITY must be in a form acceptable to the Town of Charlestown. A Performance/Payment Security in the total amount of the contract, in a form acceptable to the Town of Charlestown shall be required to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all labor and materials used in the work. Each bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form supplied by the Town of Charlestown in a sealed envelope clearly identified with the Bidder's name and address marked. The Lump Sum bid must be accompanied by a Schedule of Values. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technical or legal deficiencies that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town.
