Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus, Ohio. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Tom Ekegren at ekegren.3@osu.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). As of March 23, 2023, an engineer firm has been selected. A bid date for a general contractor has not been confirmed. A firm timeline for construction is unknown. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The sanitary scope includes Part 1 along Woody Hayes Drive on the linked exhibit. Additional parts may also be added. The water line scope is shown on the linked exhibit in Lane Ave. This scope includes a new master meter, backflow preventer, and associated building approved by the University and City. The sanitary and water lines will be prepared in separate bid packages. Expect to coordinate the crossing of both state route and railway R-O-W. A partnership of The Ohio State University and the City of Columbus will administer the development and execution of this project. All design specifications and plan development will be in compliance with City of Columbus standards and specifications. The design contract will be held by OSU. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
