As of April 27 2022, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. It is the intent of the Horry County Schools Office of Procurement to solicit offers from qualified vendors to provide a new internal drainage system for the North Myrtle Beach High School Baseball & Softball Fields. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide the services requested herein. The District is requesting that sub-surface drainage be installed under the playing surface at the North Myrtle Beach High School Baseball & Softball Fields. Currently, there is no sub-surface drainage located on either field. The scope of work requested is designed to move water quickly through the soil profile and away from the playing surface. This design is intended to maximize usage and increase player safety. The work to be performed on the field is to be completed in a manner consistent with Sports Turf construction & maintenance guidelines and practices. It is anticipated that all work will be complete by June 15th, 2022. If the quality of work is not acceptable to the owner and/or its designated representative, then the Contractor is required to correct the issue immediately. It is the intent of the District to award a single contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Questions Must Be Received by(Date/time): 3/4/2022 12:00 P.m. (Est).
