Renovation of a water / sewer project in Little River, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Description: To replace existing pump and motor in the water well at North Myrtle Beach High School. (REBID) Replace existing pump and motor at North Myrtle Beach High School. Complete turn-key pump installation (assume existing well depth 300 feet., pump set depth between 180 to 200 feet). Total Extended Lump Sum Price shall include all materials, labor, equipment, tools of trades and labor, fees, taxes, insurance, overhead, profit, etc. to complete the work SCOPE OF WORK: It is the intent of the Horry County Schools Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the North Myrtle Beach High School to solicit bids from qualified vendors to replace existing pump and motor in the water well as per specifications herein. o Pump system to provide 40 gallons per minute (GPM) at a discharge pressure of 60 PSI at the top of the well head. o Pump to be a 5 HP submersible motor. o Pump to have a 20-gallon pressure tank. o Pump to have 220 feet of 2-inch drop pipe. o Pump to be installed on Certa-Lok drop pipe with 2-inch bronze check valve above the pump end. Include all cable guards, safety rope, etc., as needed for a complete, professional installation. o A 5 HP 230V Variable Frequency Drive with Nema 12 Enclosure and pressure transducer shall be provided and installed by contractor. o Provide all necessary electrical equipment between the pump control system and the well pump motor to ensure pump operates within the manufacturer's guidelines. Anticipated flow range between 20GPM and 65GPM. o Electricity will be made available by HCS at the existing well location which is beside the tennis courts. o The contractor is responsible for removing all debris from the property. Debris in the well should be contained and removed when the project is completed. o The contractor is responsible for connecting the well to the existing irrigation system. A District representative must be present for this portion of the project. o The contractor is responsible for turf, soil, or irrigation damaged during this project. o Contractor is to provide a complete turn-key project. o Contractor must complete work within thirty days of receipt of purchase order.
