Saving Project...

Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a municipal facility in Homestead, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for outdoor lighting for a municipal facility.

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, from a qualified contractor(s) for the repairs and/or replacement/upgrade of approximately 80 interior and exterior well lights from a source of supply that will give prompt and efficient service. The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer. MBE/WBE/DBE businesses are encouraged to participate. Pursuant to subsection (t) "Cone of Silence," of Section 2-11.1 "Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Ordinance" of Miami-Dade County, public notice is hereby given that a "Cone of Silence" is imposed concerning this City's competitive purchasing process, which generally prohibits communications concerning the RFP until such time as the City Manager makes a written recommendation to the City Council concerning the competitive purchase transaction. Please see the detailed specification for the public solicitation for goods or services for a statement fully disclosing the requirements of the "Cone of Silence." The City Council reserves the right to waive irregularities or technicalities in proposals or reject all proposals or any part of any proposal they deem necessary for the best interest of the City of Homestead, Florida.
