Waterline Replacement involving the installation of 1,100 8 C900 CL235 Pipe along Burrell Hill Road, Penn Township, Westmoreland County, PA. Bidders will be responsible to view the project on their own. Any questions regarding the project must be submitted to Bernadette Hamay, no later than 12:00 p.m., February 18, 2022, via fax (724) 755-5923 or email at contractbids@mawc.org. Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Contractors name, contract number and date, and all proposals received will be opened and read at the time and place designated above. Due to the current events associated with the coronavirus, attendance will be limited to one representative per company for both the pre-bid meeting and the bid opening meeting. You will be required to maintain social distancing as well as wear a mask upon entrance to the building and during the meetings. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to this project. Any bid not submitted under the conditions provided herein will be rejected. The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid received, to reject any bids, or to accept any bid it deems in its best interest.
