The Town of Indian River Shores is accepting sealed proposals for a licensed contractor to perform a flat roof replacement of the Public Safety Building. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept any bid or portion thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town, and to waive any non-substantial irregularities. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS : A licensed roofing contractor (Contractor) is sought to replace the flat roof located at the rear of the of the Public Safety (Police/Fire) building for the Town of Indian River Shores (Town). It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to verify the total area and materials required to complete the work. The following criteria are required for the replacement of the flat roof at the Town s Public Safety facility: Apply and receive a permit from the Town of Indian River Shores Building Department. Remove existing roof to concrete decking. Install Cricket System to slope 1/2" to existing scuppers. Install Carlisle 115 mil TPO membrane fully adhered to concrete deck in accordance with FL Product approval. All laps to be fully heat welded. All walls to be flashed with 60 mil TPO membrane set in solvent based bonding adhesive. All laps to be fully heat welded. All walls to be terminated above roofing with new wall counterflashing. Stucco removal included. New stucco will be provided by the Town. Fabricate and install .032 aluminum counterflashing/ termination flashing at wall. Fabricate and install TPO cladded scuppers. Provide 2-year workmanship warranty upon completion. Provide Carlisle 20yr NDL warranty upon completion. Exclusions: Stucco and Painting.
