The work consists, in general, of demolition of existing improvements, saw cutting, , construction of concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, curb ramps driveway approaches, tree removal and installation and performing other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: Class A or C-8 & C-12 Project Duration:80 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages:$1,000.00 Per Calendar Day Bidders are required to submit questions in writing, via e-mail, to Yama.Farouqihayward-ca.gov, no later than Tuesday, February 15, 2022, by 5:00 pm, no exceptions. No other questions will be received after the deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond duly executed by a responsible corporate surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of California, made payable to the City of Hayward for an amount equal to at least ten (10) percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a Labor and Materials Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond.
