W912DQ-22-SS-7012 Sources Sought for hazardous material abatement and building demolition in the Midtown area of St. Louis, MO. The following is a Sources Sought Notice is for a contractor to perform hazardous material abatement and building demolition. This Sources Sought announcement is for market research information only and is to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested and none will be accepted in response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential and interested qualified contractors capable of performing hazardous material abatement and building demolition. This effort is classified through the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under 562910 Remediation Services small business size standard of $14M. It is anticipated that a solicitation announcement will be published on SAM.gov in late 2022 or early 2023. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 with an estimated project duration of 6 months. This project includes the following buildings to be demolished: several 2-story residential properties constructed in the early 1900s ranging in size from 2,000sf - 2,500sf and a previously renovated 13,000sf single story commercial facility. Abatement is expected to include hazardous materials found in building materials used in that era but could also include removal of small underground storage tanks and soil removal and/or remediation. Work will require waste diversion, coordination with servicing utilities, some earthen backfill and minor site grading/restoration. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District is soliciting input from industry as part of our market research efforts associated with this acquisition. The following information is requested in this Sources Sought (SS) announcement with a limit of ten (10) pages for your response: 1. Organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and small business status and type of ownership for the organization (VOSB, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc); include DUNS number and CAGE code. 2. Firm's interest in providing a proposal as the prime contractor on the pending solicitation once issued. 3. Experience: Evidence of capabilities to perform work comparable to that required for this project (e.g. demolition of structures that contain hazardous material, ability to conduct a hazardous material assessment, soil removal and/or remediation, etc.). Provide a maximum of 5 recent (within the last 6 years) relevant/comparable projects and describe how they are similar to this project. Include the project name; when the project was constructed; dollar value of the project; description of the key/salient features of the project, identify the contracting office & the customer/user (include POC information). The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
