The Carbondale Community H.S.D. #165 Board of Education, will receive bids for CCHS Original Building Wind Damage Roof Replacement Re-Bid work at Carbondale Community High School, Carbondale, IL 62902. Work to be covered by the bid shall include: Roofing Contractor: Replace existing roofing system as described in the Construction Documents, and all associated work. Work includes removal of existing roofing system, fascia, coping, flashing, counterflashing, roof drains, scuppers, gutters, downspouts, treated wood blocking, and all associated work. Work also includes installation of new membrane roofing system, fascia, coping, flashing, counterflashing, roof drains, scuppers, gutters, downspouts, treated wood blocking, and all associated work. Bid security payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, shall be executed by the Bidder in the form of certified check, bank draft, or acceptable surety. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Payment and Performance Bond. Contractor must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with Illinois Wages of Employees of Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is required to be submitted with all Pay Applications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of Forty five (45) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Bidding Schedule: The Owner anticipates all work contemplated in the Construction Documents shall commence June 1, 2022 and be finally complete no later than August 1, 2022.
