Division 0 - Bidding and Contract Requirements Section 00100 - Advertisement for Bids The Carbondale Community H.S.D. #165 Board of Education, will receive bids for the Walnut Street Security Entry Addition Re-Bid work at Carbondale Community High School, Carbondale, IL 62902. A. Work to be Bid: 1. Work to be covered by the bid shall include construction of new Security Entry and Offices and all associated work, as described in the Construction Documents. Work to be covered by the bid shall also include all associated Mechanical and Electrical work described in the Construction Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. General Contractor 2. Mechanical Contractor 3. Electrical Contractor C. Contractor must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with Illinois Wages of Employees of Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is required to be submitted with all Pay Applications. 4. Successful bidders will be required to perform and provide criminal background checks on all contractors, subcontractors and their employees, agents, or assigns that will be employed on this project prior to commencement of work, at the Contractor's expense. Bidding Schedule: The Owner anticipates all work contemplated in the Construction Documents shall commence April 1, 2022 and be finally complete no later than August 1, 2022.
