The support structures are mainly constructed of tube/pipe material that is 18" x 3/4 " x 30'. Nine of the 10 structures are identical, with one structure, designated as EPO at MP 15 SB, being slightly different at the baseplate as detailed on the drawing. Fully fabricated as designed, each structure is conservatively estimated to weigh 4400lbs. All construction shall be to AISC standards. All welding shall be to AWS standards. The finished products will be delivered to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District Maintenance Yard, located at 32386 Lankford Highway, Cape Charles, Virginia 23310. Installation of these structures is NOT part of this project, therefor the anchor bolts shown on the drawing are NOT to be provided as part of the project.
