The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to repair/replace the existing laminate flooring throughout four lodges at Kiptopeke State Park. Lodges 1, 3, 4, and 5 have original laminate flooring throughout the living areas, halls, and bedrooms that needs to be replaced. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove and to replace flooring throughout the four facilities, per the specifications below. The contractor shall be responsible for true and accurate measurements related to this project; any provided measurements are approximation. Remove and dispose of all existing laminate flooring throughout lodge (approximately 1850 Sq ft). Replace any damaged subfloor sheeting as necessary and install to manufactures specifications Home Depot Lifeproof Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Flooring (model #196711LP / internet SKU: 309083453) or agency approved equivalent throughout lodge except for the three guest bathroom areas. Color to be approved by park staff. Install new quarter round molding and transition strips in all areas where flooring was replaced. Stain trim with park approved color. Install transition strips where removed with park approved strip. 3. Specifications/cut sheets shall be submitted with the bid. Any alternate product bid must meet or exceed the specifications for the above make and model. Failure to provide Product Information may eliminate your company's bid from evaluation for award.
