This capital project entails construction of a new traffic signal the intersection of Thacher Street and Rathbun Willard Drive with roadway and sidewalk improvements within the project limits. This capital improvement needs to be completed before the planned opening of the new High School in 2022. The primary intent of these improvements is to provide a signalized intersection at the intersection of Thacher Street and Rathbun Willard Drive and to coordinate with the existing traffic signals at County Square to facilitate the efficiency of vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow through the corridor. Municipal funding is the only available source known at this time. This project is included in the City of Attleboro Fy 2023 - 2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
