The City of Saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for Replacement Gates & Operators at the Public Works Building with specifications as shown in bid document. General Requirements:- - FOB Destination Remove in entirety both automatic fence gates and operators one on the Washington Ave. entrance and one on the Holland St. entrance at the Public Works Building located at 1435 S. Washington Ave. Contractor shall supply & install new gates and operators to meet specs and bring openings up to current code. (Please see below specs) Contractor shall remove all spoils and debris generated by this work from the project site. The owner will not allow excess spoils to be left on City of Saginaw property at project completion. Contractor shall limit storage of materials and equipment within the project limits Contractor shall coordinate their activities so as to not interfere with or interrupt City of Saginaw operations and Public access to the facilities. Contractor shall perform daily cleanup of materials and debris generated by their work within the project limits and in public access areas in which they create debris and/or tracking of soil materials. Contractor is responsible for security of their own tools, equipment, materials, etc. to guard against fire, theft, vandalism, and/or weather damage. Contractor shall secure and pay for all permits and inspections required by agencies having jurisdiction for work in this project. They are also to coordinate any and all inspections with agencies having jurisdiction. Material shall be stored only within the area under Contract. Materials shall not be stored in manner creating an unattractive nuisance, fire or traffic hazard as determined by Facilities Administrator, or his designee. The Contractor shall protect all materials and equipment prior to installation.
