County of Accomack is seeking sealed bids from qualified and insured contractors for mowing and maintenance of grounds at the Wallops Research Park and other County maintained properties including the Wattsville Landfill, the Riverside Hospital Waterline Easement, and the Parks & Recreation ballfields and driving range located on Accomack County School properties. All bidding documents associated with this solicitation can be found on the website. Bids received after the due date and time will be returned unopened. Interested parties wishing to join the live bid opening must request login information one day prior to the bid opening day via email at lhuffman@co.accomack.va.us. Withdrawal of Bids shall be according to procedure 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia, as amended. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to contact any Bidder prior to award for explanations or clarifications. The County does not discriminate against any Bidder on any basis.
