Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Accomac, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a 19,000-square-foot educational facility.

As of March 6, 2024, per owner, a design team has been selected. The final contract is in negotiation. At this time the project has not started. Accomack County Public Schools (ACPS) is accepting sealed proposals from licensed architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services for design and engineering of Accomack Primary School into a new School Board Office Administration Building. Request for services include the following Prepare a conceptual design Prepare final construction plans Provide cost estimating Assist in preparation of bid documents and bid process Provide construction administration services All services in accordance with all federal state and local requirements. 1.Specialized skills and experience of the firm(s) and assigned individuals, with particular emphasis on renovation projects 2. Proven record of experience and quality of work with similar projects 3.Demonstration of quality of work on similar projects. 4.Demonstrated understanding of the scope of work. Ownership of all materials and documentation, including the original drawings and the Plans and Specifications and copies of any calculations and analyses prepared pursuant to the Contract between Accomack County Public Schools and the Contractor, shall belong exclusively to Accomack County Public Schools. These materials and documentation, whether completed or not, shall be the property of Accomack County Public Schools whether the work for which they are made is executed or not. The Contractor shall not use these materials on any other work or release any information about these materials without the express written consent of Accomack County Public Schools. ACPS reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to request clarification of information from any offerors
