This project includes the improvement of approximately 1.5 acre site into a public plaza complete with 1200 sf restroom/concessions building, water feature, and seating elements. Start of construction will occur on May 9th, 2022, with completion by November 3rd, 2022. The water feature scope was previously bid out in the first bid package. The scope of work for this solicitation includes the following scopes of work included in the Work Package: Final Cleaning; Surveying; Structural Concrete; Site Concrete; Concrete Floor Finishes; Unit Masonry; Metal Fabrications and Decking; Structural Framing; Rough Carpentry; Finish Carpentry; Manufactured Casework; Waterproofing; Metal Wall Panels; Sheetmetal Flashing and Trim; Membrane Roofing; Joint Sealants; Doors, Frames, and Hardware; Coiling Counter Doors; Resilient Flooring and Carpeting; Painting; Interior Specialties; Signage; Food Service Equipment; Site Furnishings; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical, Communications, and Safety and Security; Earthwork and Site Utilities; Asphalt Paving; Pavement Markings; Fencing; Irrigation, Landscaping, and Planting. Failure to do so, or to submit an incomplete bid, will cause bidder's bid to be deemed non-responsive and thus rejected. All bidders must clearly outline their ability and capacity to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obligations arising hereunder. P&C reserves the right to consider during any post-bid evaluation, the ability of bidder to provide said bonds and/or the current financial strength of the proposer. This project is a prevailing wage project in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes 279C.800-870. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board at the time of submission of their bids and carry all licensing and bonding required for a public project in the State of Oregon. P&C reserves the right to: reject any and all bids; reject any bid not in compliance with the bidding procedures and requirements; reject for good cause any bid that would be in the public's best interest to do so; and waive minor irregularities in any or all bid responses. There will be no public opening of the bids received or announcement by P&C of selected firms until such a time after a selection has been made by the project team.
