THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT February 14, 2022 Install Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) to Boiler Power System, Salt Lake City, UT 36C25922R0036 The Salt Lake City Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Salt Lake City, UT has a requirement for Install Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) to Boiler Power System. The Salt Lake City VAMC is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for construction of the project described here. The George E. Whalen Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Salt Lake City (VAMC SLC), hereinafter referred to as the Agency , is located at 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. VAMC SLC is seeking a qualified design-build contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to provide design-build services to install a battery UPS system for specific electric panels of the boiler system to ensure the system does not go down in the event of a power interruption from the main electric supply. The project also requires installation of a cooling system for the UPS area. All work will be accomplished on the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center campus as indicated in the plans, specifications, and drawings. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5M. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. (4) The joint venture meets the requirements of 13 CFR 125.15(b). (e) Any service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern (non-manufacturer) must meet the requirements in 19.102(f) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to receive a benefit under this program.
