To solicit proposals, that are 100% E-Rate eligible, from qualified firms to Implement a Fiber WAN in the most cost effective way to connect School Division buildings by Lit, Dark or Self Provisioned Fiber to support Internet Access for Data, Video and Voice. The Division also seeks to ensure that any new fiber infrastructure benefits the surrounding community. Proposals (excluding self-provisioned fiber responses) must include explanation of how the new fiber infrastructure will also benefit the surrounding community through access to the Internet or other services. The resulting agreements from this solicitation shall be non-exclusive and the services provided shall be on an on-call basis with no guarantee of work. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards from this solicitation and the use of the contracted firms shall be at the sole discretion of the County.
