Provide labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete the fire alarm scope of work as indicated on the documents and per manufacturer's requirements. Include all State of Michigan permits, inspections, and associated fees as required. There are existing National Time and Signal addressable devices located in the building, as indicated on the bid drawings. Those devices, and the SLC wiring to those devices, will remain and be tied into the new Fire Alarm Control Panel. This trade is responsible to complete the fire alarm replacement on second shift, unless installed during summer. This trade shall keep the existing system running parallel to installing the new fire alarm system. Include final demolition of all existing panels, devices, wiring, supports, etc. complete. Furnish and install new blank plates in areas where old flush mounted devices were removed and will not be re-used. Plates will be supplied by fire alarm manufacture. Furnish and install a complete, new fire alarm system and power including, but not limited to, NAC panels, smoke, heat detectors, duct detectors, speakers/strobes, pull stations, wiring, conduit, etc. as required by code and per manufacturer's requirements. This trade is responsible to work through existing (newer) ceiling tile. This trade will be responsible to replace all ceiling tiles damaged by this trades work. Include allowance for some replacement pads as needed. Include final certification of the system. Include engineered drawings. Include owner's training of new system and as-built documents upon completion (1 hard copy -full size and 1 digital copy).
