Renovation of a municipal facility in South Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Exterior finishing material including rain gutters and accessories and fencing and roofing materials and accessories siding and exterior wall materials Roofing service including maintenance and repair and installation and roofing and siding and sheet metal services and gutter and downspout service and skylight installation service This project includes all labor, material, equipment, tools, and meetings necessary for removal of old roofing material and installation of new replacement roof materials on an occupied building per attached scope of work. A pre-bid project site tour can be arranged upon request. Please direct all scope of work questions to Joaquin Garcia or jgarcia@sslc.gov. A Bid Bond of 5% is required to accompany each bid. The construction contract requires insurance, performance and payment bonds, and E-Verify compliance, as outlined in the draft contract. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and rebid the project, or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the owner and/or make reductions in or expand the scope of work This project replaces the aging rolled asphalt roof at The Columbus Center located at 2531 South 400 East in South Salt Lake. The scope includes keeping the existing rolled asphalt roof, sweeping off loose material, covering roof with insulation and membrane, replacing drip edge, pipe, curb flashings, and warranty of work Question Submission Close Date 2/18/2022 3:00 PM MST 1. Participate in pre-construction meeting with city staff. 2. Submit documentation for all major products to be used (adhesives, fasteners, PVC membrane, and fanfold) for approval prior to installation. 3. Clean and prep existing roof to include removal of old curb flashing. 4. Install new materials Apply min. 1/2 inch fanfold product underlayment to existing roof and secure as needed. Install min. 0.50 mil single ply roofing membrane. Cost proposal shall provide two cost options: 1. PVC 2 TPO (Duro-last or equiv.) Install new metal curb flashing around roof perimeter Install metal flashing to all roof penetrations Weld all seams in accordance to product specs Attach membrane to curb flashing 4. Remove and dispose of all demolished materials 5. Complete final inspection with owner's inspector 6. Provide a min. 15-year warranty for product and consequential damages. Provide min. 5 year warranty on workmanship. 7. Provide all material submittals and Material Data Sheets
