The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for the placement of a rubberized chip seal and fog seal on Iron Springs Road, Kirkland Valley Road, Beaver Creek Road, Montezuma Lake Road, and Verde Valley School Road. Project length is approximately 35.7 miles, and the total estimated quantity of area to receive the rubberized chip seal is approximately 708,221 square yards. Total estimated quantity of fog seal coat is estimated at 70,822 gallons. In addition, existing AR-ACFC surface shall be removal by micro-milling at Beaver Creek Road with a total estimated quantity of 82,119 square yards. Other associated work includes restoring pavement markings and installing 216 linear feet of preformed thermoplastic rumble bars. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Each proposal shall be submitted, either by hand, U.S. Postal Service, or other carrier to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, 1015 Fair Street, Room 310, Prescott, Arizona 86305. Yavapai County will not be responsible for those bids submitted that are not marked appropriately and/or sent to the wrong address. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
