This RFPQ is part of the pre-qualification program designed to build a roster of Approved Service Providers (ASPs) that may be engaged to work on various projects on an "if, as and when required" basis for a period of one year from the date the roster is created. This RFPQ is issued by the Municipality to allow the Town of Shaunavon to pre-qualify Approved Service Providers for Sidewalk Replacement. Sidewalk Specifications: - All concrete must be 32 mpa. - Area must be prepared with a 4" minimum gravel base and packed properly to ensure no settling - Proper sloping must be observed to eliminate trip hazards and allow proper drainage - Main sidewalk concrete will be a minimum of 4" thick with a thickened edge - Thickened edge will be 5.5 inches wide at the top, between 8-10 inches wide at the bottom and 10-12 inches deep - Expansion joint material will be used between new and old concrete - No rebar to be used in sidewalks - Curb edge and top to be finished smooth - Sidewalk to have broom finish - Concrete work must be sealed for protection and hardening It is the respondent's responsibility to clarify interpretation of any item of the specifications or other documentation before the closing time, by contacting: Procurement Contact: Ron Phillips Ph: 306-297-2605 Email: phillips.shaunavon@sasktel.net Respondents should direct all inquiries to the contact shown above.
