Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document The Cégep du Vieux Montréal is requesting bids for the sanitation work on the ventilation ducts of system 1 - phase 2, at its building located at 255 Ontario Street East, in Montreal. The project consists of sanitation work on part of the supply ducts of the main ventilation system serving the main building (system no.1), i.e. those on floors 9, 10 and 11. This is the second phase of the cleanup work on system no.1. The first phase of the work was carried out in the spring of 2021 and consisted of cleaning up the return ducts and the cabinets of the ventilation unit. A report on the healthiness assessment of the CVAC and evacuation systems of the Cégep du Vieux Montréal was carried out in 2020. This report is attached to the tender documents and illustrates the degree of healthiness of the ventilation system no.1. Work can begin as soon as the contract is awarded, around March 14, 2022 . A Professional will be on site every shift to supervise the work and ensure the validity of the competency cards of each of the workers who will be assigned to carry out the work. Throughout the work period, the ventilation system no.1 can be shut down as of 10:00 p.m. and must be restarted as of 5:30 a.m. All work must be completed and accepted without reservation, and the demobilization of the CONTRACTOR completed by June 30, 2022 . Tenders may be transmitted electronically and such transmission may only be made through the electronic tendering system. If a BIDDER wishes to ask a question or obtain a clarification on any aspect of the Call for Tenders or the Call for Tenders Documents, he must send, in writing, to sourcing@cvm.qc.ca any question or request for clarification relating to the Invitation to Tender Documents to the file manager identified at the beginning of this document. The PUBLIC BODY reserves the right not to consider a request for clarification made by a TENDERER if this request is sent to it less than THREE (3) working days before the deadline date and time set for the receipt of the Tenders. Only will be considered for the purposes of the admissibility of a contractor for the presentation of a tender, the tender of the contractor having an establishment where he exercises his activities on a permanent basis in Quebec, clearly identified in his name and accessible during the normal business hours or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c .B.-1.1). Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency, the conformity of their licenses and for the content of their tenders. All tenders must be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies (RSQ, c. C-65.1, r.3) adopted under the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (RSQ, c . C-65.1). The Cégep du Vieux Montréal does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received, in particular when it deems that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price.
