Outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility.
The Fort McMurray International Airport is upgrading its airside electrical system for all Taxiways and Aprons, alongside floodlighting upgrades on Aprons I & II. The Runway 08-26 lighting was previously upgraded on a separate project. The proposed project will include the removal and disposal of existing edge lights and cabling on Taxiways A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H and J, as well as Aprons I and II. New LED edge lights and cabling will be installed at the same locations as the existing edge lights. Sixteen (16) Runway Guard Lights (RGL) will also be replaced, and two (2) new Runway Guard Lights installed. Key components of the project include: Removal and replacement of all taxiway edge lights and associated cabling; Removal and replacement of all apron edge lights and associated cabling; Removal and replacement of 16 RGLs; Installation of 2 new RGLs; Upgrade of Apron floodlighting fixtures Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
